Empty is a book about  the time when Venezuela stops sending oil to the U.S.. People are having much trouble going to school and getting electricity. People steal gas from other peoples tanks. Buy and sell black market gas, and beat each other up. It is a hard life in Sage Valley and Marietta. I was surprised when Luke came out of no where with his friends to save the day.
