My city has the longest river named "Kizilirmak" of Turkey. The Kizilirmak passes 7 cities of Turkey before finishing its journey to the Black sea. During its journey, the river gathers the stories of different Turkish people. It encounters joy, sadness, fun, death, hope, regret, fight..All of them belong to humanity in fact. The general mood of my city is "longing" for me. In most Turkish songs, the river is an inspiration for longing to love, revenge, hope, mourning, past and future..

TURKEY

In our city the stones resemble sandcastles, washed up on a mystical shore. The iconic image of Turkey's Cappadocia region features twisty stone formations that look plucked from a fairy tale. In this area people have lived in Cappadocia for over three thousand years. These early settlers made their home inside the rocks. The rocks are a soft stone that you can easily scratch away at with your hand or a simple tool. Once water hits the freshly carved material, it hardens like a cement or clay -an ideal shelter. The functions of these cave houses in current conditions are also being evaluated and the proposals are indicated. In the results and conclusions the necessities of current conditions regarding the spatial aspects of these cave formations with proposals are being identified. Since almost two thousand years the cave dwellings of Cappadocia play a major role in the regional architecture.

I live in Albufeira in Algarve. My city is known by the amazing beaches of white sand and warm water as well as by the exciting bars and partys. However , Albufeira as much more to offer to the visitants: an extraordinary gastronomy that combines the best of the sea and the rural flavors of the mountain. There is amazing golf courses and a history full of Moorish influences.
