The book is about a "firefighter" named Guy Montag. In this world firefighters don't put out fires, they collect books and burn them. All builds are fireproofed so when people are discovered to have books, houses are pumped full of kerosene and burned. So far the book has been very good, somewhat edgy and sometimes monotonous but overall good. The main characters development so far has been entertaining and supporting characters equally so.

She lived in a world with no books and a very strange society and she was the only person who enjoyed thinking ans experience. Its discouraged to talk with people, everyone watches tv and are encouraged to be distracted from the problems in the world. Her family was made of people just like her ans they were some of the only people who dared to go against the grain. This quote is from Clarisse, Guy Montag's teenage neighbor. She it talking about how the school staff saw her as different and wanted to separate her from the other children.

This is important in the context of the book by showing how society looks at people who are different. She acted different from other children and thought different so she was deemed as "anti-social".

This quote is trying to talk about how people are even treated in modern society, especially at the time this was written, the 1950s. People who were culturally different, different ideals, thought different or were gay or mentally disabled were deemed as lesser or different from others.
