Vi y experimenté muchas cosas. He probado la bebida más común aquí que son frescos. Son bebidas naturales hechas de agua de frutas o leche. He probado un fresco de kiwi y fue genial. También comí el famoso plato de arroz y frijoles. Es lo que consiste la dieta de Costa Rica. Fui a la selva llamada "la selva de Manuel Antonio". Llegué a observar perezosos y lo lentos que se mueven. También vi monos y un loro. Fui al centro comercial en San José llamado "Terra Mall". Fue genial porque compre muchas cosas y un recuerdo. Fui a visitar las escuelas y su almuerzo fue principalmente arroz y frijoles. Fui a probar algunas de las aficiones de Costa Rica que uno de ellos era el surf. Fue divertido, pero fue difícil no abrir la boca y sabor agua salada. Las casas eran pequeñas y las ventanas tenían barras para seguridad. Se llaman Ticos. Ellos están muy cerca cuando se trata de ser una familia.   • What differences have you seen between the Spanish language and your native language? What did you find interesting and exciting about the Costa Rican culture?
    • The differences I saw from the Spanish language and my native language is that there are different grammar structures and the pronunciation of the words has to be different. I found interesting that their culture mainly eats rice and beans and has stores like Sam's club.
    • What do you hope to learn if you continue to study the Spanish language?
    I hope to speak very fluently and be able to pronounce things right.
    • We have learned elements of a language in a different teaching/learning style than you may be used to. Talk about your experience with learning Spanish in an online class. What did you like about the course? What did you not like and/or what could be improved?
    I liked that we got to do learn about Costa Rica mainly and how their lifestyle is. I did not like doing the live classes because I feel like it was too much.
    • What things did you do that helped you learn Spanish in this course? What things can you do to improve your own Spanish learning in the future?
    I practiced how to pronounce words. I can start speaking it a lot at home to my parents so I get used to it in the future.
    • What things did your instructor do to help you with your learning? Was there anything that your instructor didn't do that would have helped you?
    She gave me a lot of feedback and helped me where to find the live classes (: No there wasn't anything she didn't do.

Pero solo usamos agua y no leche. También podemos comer frijoles y arroz aquí, pero hay muchos más platos de comida para elegir. Tenemos muchos lugares para visitar y observar animales también. Lugares como el zoológico, la selva tropical y la selva. Tenemos centros comerciales como en Costa Rica. Puedes elegir entre muchas tiendas para comprar. Pero la diferencia es que algunos de nuestros centros comerciales están afuera. Nuestros almuerzos escolares no consisten de arroz y frijoles porque tenemos opciones. Mi casa no tiene barras en las ventanas, en cambio tenemos sistemas de seguridad. Unos de mis aficiones es jugar al fútbol, ​​nadar y surfear. Nuestras familias también están muy cerca y nos reunimos todo el tiempo durante las vacaciones.
