But it is interesting to note that the academic level of the head of the department is written in Russian only. And the "informal" addition at the bottom (where it is said who is the security responsible) is written only in Russian too. All "informal" papers are written in this workplace only in Russian. Chuvash seems not to have a real informative value, but just a symbolic one.

My union represents caregivers who come from many countries and who speak many languages. We started a campaign to build empathy and solidarity in our difficult political climate and settled on a slogan that embodies that spirit and incorporates the care-giving profession. We had people from within our organization come up with the most culturally relevant translation to the phrase "we care for each other" which is not always a direct translation, but would carry similar weight and meaning. Then we printed it on banners and marched with them in the streets for immigrant rights. Languages here are Arabic, English, Russian, and Spanish

Bangor University: Thank you for giving me this opportunity to talk about multiculturalism in Bangor. This photo is from Bangor University, United Kingdom, where I am doing my research. You can see here the students from multi-ethnic groups thus obviously it is clear that they speak different languages. The students were from Bangladesh, Africa, London, Wales and India. So their cultural diversity demonstrates the picture of multilingualism. When we were going together as a group at that time we were speaking about languages and their cultures.

It’s hard to become multilingual as you get older, especially when the surrounding area is not as multilingual yet. The US is behind the times in terms of making a second language a part of the curriculum, but there are so many students that come into my class already speaking two or more languages from their parents. My job id to try to get these 10-24 year olds excited about maybe their second or third language without making it seem like a chore.
Unfortunately, I dont have any photos to share.

I'm afraid I don't think I can share photos of my workplace, partly because due to current circumstances I am working from home, and partly because we have a lot of confidentiality issues being an exam board! I work on the team handling English exams, but in my near proximity are the Arts and Languages team, who apart from being multilingual each have a little flag on their desk from a different country. Apparently these flags don't represent the language of the papers each person works on, so instead are purely a celebration of diversity in language and culture. Apart from that, we have social groups in the company dedicated to things like language exchange, and those who travel abroad for work purposes share their experiences and photos which are shared on screens around the building.
