It’s Christmas Eve and Santa’s gearing up for his big trip! He quaffs his traditional pre-flight glass of wine (just one) and grabs one of Mrs. Clause’s cookies. Checking the weather forecast (a little snow is predicted), he looks up at the night sky and sees a map of stars to guide him. At the first house he stops at, he notices there’s no fire in the fireplace. Lucky for him because that trip down the chimney would certainly have singed his jingle bells. He also sees that the star has fallen from the top of the tree. "We can't have a starless tree on Christmas Eve", he says to himself. He returns the star to the treetop, leaves the gifts for the family, and goes on his holly jolly way.

It was the night before Christmas, and all through the house, the air was filled with warmth and anticipation.

As bedtime neared, I asked a very important question: “What should we leave out for Santa?” 🎅🏽

“Cookies and milk, of course!” said my little brother. 🍪

“Hmm, what if Santa gets tired of cookies?” I wondered. “Maybe Santa likes something else, like… wine!” 🍷

“Wine?!” my mom laughed. “Well, Santa works very hard. Maybe a little sip wouldn’t hurt!”

I was all giddy, thinking about the things I had wished ✨ for, as we laid out the cookies and milk on one plate, and a small glass of wine next to it. After all, Santa deserved some options!

Outside, there was no snow, ❄️but I didn’t mind. The coziness inside our house 🏠 was unmatched. The gas fireplace 🔥 flickered happily, casting a golden glow over the room. The family sat together, laughing and sharing stories, before dad whispered “it’s time to go to bed.”

The next morning, we raced to the living room. The cookies were gone, the milk glass was empty, and—wait!—the wine glass had just a tiny bit left. “Santa must have liked both!” I exclaimed.

The day after Christmas was just as magical. We packed up ➡️and headed to NYC to visit my big sister. The city was dazzling, with bright lights 🌟 and the giant tree at Rockefeller Center. 🎄My sister was waiting for us, surrounded by her friends who all seemed to sparkle like stars.

“I have something for you!” I said, handing her a special gift 🎁. Her smile lit up like the Rockefeller tree, and that smile, to me, felt like the best present in the world.

After a long evening of delivering gifts to all the families worldwide, Santa finally comes home where Mrs. Claus awaits. The two go out to the back to watch the stars and the beauty of the Northern Lights as they enjoy a nice bottle of Chateau Lafite. It begins to snow, and they go inside to spend time with all of the elves thanking them for their hard work throughout the year. Everyone sits by the large fireplace singing songs of happiness and gratitude for their blessings. As the evening wraps up, they all gather together one last time to light the star on the tree and exchange gifts symbolizing the end of Christmas.

As Santa finally sat down to enjoy some cookies and wine that Mrs. Claus made him, he saw a shooting star out his window. He took a step outside to make a wish. He wished for a winter wonderland. Much to his amazement, snow started falling almost instantly. He went back inside his house and started a fire. The flames from the fireplace glistened off the star that sat upon the top of the Christmas Tree, making Santa smile from ear to ear. He and Mrs. Claus spent the rest of the night putting presents under the tree and drinking hot chocolate by the cozy fireplace.

‘Twas Two Weeks Before Christmas…

Once upon a time on the evening of December 10th, Santa 🎅 was sitting at home thinking about the big day that was coming in two weeks. He was checking his list and studying his map. He wanted to make sure that he would bypass Mar-a-Lago. He was enjoying a snack of grape juice 🍷 and cookies 🍪. The grape juice was sugar-free, and the cookies were of the low carb variety. That didn’t taste as good as the real stuff, but he was watching his weight. Anyway, he’d be eating lots of the real stuff when he visited the homes of the good little boys and girls. He hoped they’d remember to leave something out for Donner, Blitzen and the rest of the team.

He was also watching the Weather Channel long-range forecast to see where the skies would be starlit ✨ and where snow ❄️ would be falling on homes 🏠. He called out to Mrs. Claus to make sure that his suit had been Scotchgarded and fireproofed because some of those chimneys would be full of soot and fires 🔥 might still be smoldering in some of the fireplaces as he descended.

On his map, he included an arrow pointing East ➡️ in the direction of the glowing star 🌟 that led the Magi to the reason for the season. He didn’t want to lose sight of the fact that he was only in this business because of Him.

It was now getting late, and as he put on his Night Cap and PJs, he checked the tree 🎄 to make sure the bulbs were all lit and his present for Mrs. Claus 🎁 was hidden in the back out of sight. As he climbed into bed for his long winter’s nap, he wished Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

The thumps on the roof could be heard - but no one in the home stirred. Within moments, the fire in the fireplace extinguished itself and the chimney expanded as if by magic to allow Santa into the living room. He jumped straight to his work, laying the unopened gifts out under the tree…it was then he noticed the cookies and milk. Next to the milk was a crystal glass full of red wine. It looked like Mom had been up putting new bikes together a bit late and had not finished it. Santa thought for a moment, realized that Rudolph was driving, and decided that it would be fine if he helped himself to the glass. The wine was lovely, with great fragrance, and good legs. Santa gulped it down to the last drop. All was well when he went to fill the stockings with an orange, lottery tickets and candy. It was then that he noticed his magic felt a little off. The lights on the Christmas tree now seemed to be stars instead of bulbs. However, the snow outside was starting to get thicker, so Santa decided he should hurry and get up to the sleigh. As Santa was about to leave the house he noticed that he was unable to squelch the fire and enlarge the fireplace as before. Something was not right! Just as Santa was starting to get nervous he heard a stirring behind him as the timer on the coffee pot began to brew. It smelled delicious. Santa was wondering what he could do to get his magic back. After a few moments, Santa poured himself a mug of coffee. As he sipped the magical bean water, he felt his magic start to return. Coffee was just the rising star he needed! Feeling much better now, Santa turned on the Christmas tree and left a special gift for Mom - an extra bottle of wine and a bag of coffee…every Mom’s favorite forms of magic!

Long time ago, on one unfortunate Christmas eve, Santa got tired of his mundane routine of riding the reindeers, and shouting ho-ho while handing over gifts to the kids (you see! small talk with the kids was not really his forte), so he decided to stay home and enjoy cookies and wine instead. the outside was snowy and cold, but the inside was lit and warm (so, i don't blame him really).

But as the night grew darker, his guilt grew deeper, plus he had already bought all the gifts and return date had passed, so he came up with a star idea, of going down the chimney instead and keeping the gifts quietly under the Christmas tree. This way he would successfully avoid the small talk and still retain his good name.

And ever since that day! this has been his go-to style of delivering gifts!

A glass of red wine — his second favorite drink after milk — rested in his hand. Tonight, the world could wait. For now, he and Mrs. Claus basked in the quiet joy of the moment, both eagerly anticipating the festive days ahead.

Old Saint Nick (🎅🏽) was feeling particularly jolly this Christmas Eve at his 2,942,831st stop of the evening as he ate the cookies (🍪) that a very nice child had laid out for him. He was feeling so jolly, in fact, that he decided to try a little bit of the wine (🍷) that this very nice child's parents had left out before they went to bed. He drank enough so that the frigid December night (✨) didn't feel quite so cold (❄️). He made sure not to get too drunk of course, although he wasn't worried since the reindeers do most of the driving anyway. Santa smiled and let out a happy sigh as he got ready to leave the beautiful home (🏠). He did have another two-point-three billion or so houses to visit, after all. However, unbeknownst to Santa, the wine had hit him harder than he expected. As he approached the fireplace to make his way to the roof, as he had so many times before, he tripped. Down goes Santa! He twisted as he fell to catch himself, landing on his rear, right on the simmering fire (🔥)! He shot up to his feet and ran (➡️) around the room, battering his bottom to put out the flames. Luckily, he wasn't hurt, though his suit was a bit singed. Santa gathered himself. He noticed he had knocked the star (🌟) off the gloriously decorated tree (🎄) in the center of the room. He laughed to himself a quiet little "ho, ho, ho" at his silly mistake. With a wave of his gloved hand, he repaired the tree and his suit using Christmas magic. He turned to leave, but hesitated. He turned back to the tree, smiling, and pulled out an unplanned gift (🎁) from his magic bag with the note: "To Mom & Dad, thanks for the excitement!" and nestled it under the tree. It was a brand new wine bottle. Santa slipped out of the house quietly to continue his journey.

It all started when the kids put out cookies for Santa and headed to bed early, dreaming of reindeer and presents. We figured, Santa's coming, so why not help ourselves to the cookies?

It was time to put the toys together and pretty soon we were surrounded by tools, and batteries and eventually had wine in hand and started feeling very festive!

Somewhere between putting toys together and realizing "assembly required" is code for "you're going to fight with this for hours", we noticed it was snowing outside. So, naturally, we cranked up the fireplace like we were prepping for the Polar Express. By the time the tree's star was straight (or close enough), we decided the toys could build themselves and called it a night.

The next morning, the kids raced downstairs to their Christmas tree and tore into the presents like mini tornadoes. Meanwhile, we sat there sipping coffee and trying to remember how Santa manages this every year without passing out on someone's couch.

Lesson learned: Santa's job is no joke, and neither is the wine.

Cheers!

Instead of delivering toys, he announced the first-ever "Holiday Cookie Battle Royale."

The contest attracted bakers from around the world, but things took a wild turn when the competitors realized the grand prize was a magical fireplace that could bake cookies instantly. Naturally, chaos ensued.

One contestant, an eccentric billionaire with a mansion made entirely of marshmallows, tried to sabotage the competition by heating the fireplace to dangerous levels. Flames shot out, and the crowd fled in a flurry of holiday panic.

Amid the chaos, Santa decided to save the day.
