Students often decorate their bags with pins and keychains from trips or gifts from friends. This culture reflects how Filipinos attach meaning to small objects, turning them into keepsakes that hold personal stories.

Surplus stores and thrift shops have also gained popularity as people look for unique anik-anik to add to their collections. Even in school and workplace settings, collecting bag pins and keychains has become a trend. This culture continues to evolve until now which shows how everyday objects can hold this much significance in a person.
