Sure, she may appreciate all these gifts. But all she wanted to do was climb the mountain and tell everyone she had a family. In most pictures, she mentions how much she wanted to do just that. She showed that her family and loved ones were more valuable than even Izzy's pancakes. The Reagans and Josie value her and make her feel important, like she had always been a family member. They treat her like this because she actually IS family. Well even though she did/caused all of this, Josie still loved her and relied on her. Despite getting Steven into a bad crash, he still appreciated her and so did Izzy and the old man. What I am getting at is no matter what happens, they're still family meaning whom is to be valued and loved by all.
