What is informatics ?  Sewell (2016) defines informatics as the use of informatics technology in healthcare and is focus in information management and not in computers. Informatics is very important to advance nursing role, depending in how well nurses applied informatics, the quality of patient care improves. In the actual health care system, an organized informatics system play a vital role in patient care and workflow. Informatics is about dealing, sharing and using documentation with the purpose of support patient care, increase knowledge and research. For advance nurses, informatics improve documentation in a more organize system, accessible to all the staff that is involve with patient care.
