  • The red Cross: They have been helping in Northern Queensland since February 2011 the month that cyclone Yasi struck. Many people have helped with the restoration of houses, both volunteers and full time workers.
  • The Government:  The government has provided help with funding for these repairs. Only two years before Cyclone Larry Struck Northern Queensland leaving it in total carnage. The effect of that happening a few year before is that the Government was more prepared for a another natural disaster. A whopping 157 million dollars was for helping aids like the read cross help funding and housing.
