1854: California Supreme court ruled that Asians can not testify in Court against white people. (These cases were mainly about violence against Asians meaning these crimes goes unpunished.


1871: 17 Chinese men and boys were lynch by white and Hispanic rioters. They were taken to court in which later on their convictions were overturned.
