Also, I got a better insight and perspective from my BIPOC colleagues about their experiences at NAS. It was refreshing to just listen too.

I so appreciate hearing the diversity commitment the studio speaks of are going to be made true by everyone here--THE community. I was concerned that diversity and inclusion was just a good headline--but now I can feel more confident to expect it.

It began a shift in mentality both personally and externally while empowering both myself and other diverse voices here to know that these topics are important, we can talk about them, and that we all are here at NAS coming together to move forward.

The sessions where we took a closer look at how we communicate with one another was super helpful. We have to be more thoughtful of our language, how to make sure we're empowering not just ourselves but others to speak up. Keeping in mind of power dynamic and how our actions/words affect our coworkers. The inspiration to want greater inclusivity and diversity in the company and content, I don't know how to put into words - it just fueled the fire to do better!
