How do you think you are working on them?

• I think I have been working well on all of them. I have communicated well with my classmates and collaborating together in group to comes up with creative scenes with given scripts. We communicated and collaborated and listen to each other ideas to perfect it. I think I also did great in creative thinking skill since I can come up with creative scenes and subtext while getting great feedbacks from Ms. Nicole.

How are you working towards this in regards to the work you are making?

• I think I've been working well regarding being a risk taker since I am now more confidence perform on stage and in front of my peers. I've take risk by trying out new subtext, scenes, trying to use light projection and, creating sound.

What do you want to communicate to your audience? Why?

-I want to communicate the inner thoughts in the characters to the audience so they can feel empathy for the characters.

What ideas explored throughout the unit and your individual research do you intend to further explore in developing your performance concept to a point of realization?
-I would like to research more on flashback/forward as I think it is an interesting non-naturalistic interpretation as it can make your audience stay focus to the performance. It can also make the performance more interesting. I would also like to research more on the use of lighting as we can make our performance dark while using lights.

What is the main message/theme you wish to communicate in your performance?

-Our theme for this performance is dark, creepy, sad. We tried to show the dark and creepiness of the performance but also make the audience sad for Adam at the same time.

What lasting impact do you want your performance to have on your audience?

-I wanted my audience to appreciate the visual of the drawing, lights, and sounds combine together. I also wants my audience to empathize Adam and experience the same things that Adam is feeling through the drawings, lights, and sounds.

What problems do you want to discuss and illustrate when performing this piece?

-A problem that we face during our performance is forgetting our script which we stopped a lot that makes our performance longer then expected.

Why do you think it is important to communicate this to me?

-I think it is important for you to know since we made an effort to try not using our script which also cause us to be unfocus and forgot our script.

Conceptual- Interpretation is communicated through artistic expressions by coming up with creative subtexts, expressions, stage, levels of character, explorative strategies, facial expression, eye contact, body language, etc.

Debatable- Not everyone interpret things in the same ways. We all have different opinion and ideas. All the groups in our class did the same scene but we use difference techniques and non-naturalistic style.

- Light is not necessary

- Leah should be in the scene

- More eye contact

- More movement between Jing (Jan) and Pitu (Brian)

- Jing (Jan) will get pulled by Pitu (Ms Nicole said that)

Our group chose "Siblings who always bicker. Both always want to be right."

We are both kind of annoyed of each other because of walking towards the same direction, which made us bump into each other

-Leah tone is too high, or change the tone. (Pich)

-Leah's voice can't just be high for the whole time.)

-Brian should act even when he's not speaking (Pitu)

-Move more into the middle

-Improve on our staging

Feedback:

-Improve on our staging. It's too squish together.

-Bijay(Adam) and Leah(Pich) should be closer to the light projection so the audience can focus on both of it at the same time.

-No need for all the members to get on the stage at the same time.

-Some of them can sit with the audience

- Red light is too boring so should make the light flickering instead.

- Brian and Leah is creepy but they were too quiet

- Pitu did great potraying Brian

-Not using script was good

-Leah and Brian could have been a bit louder because they start to lower their voice as they start to get creepier

-We were a bit unfocus compare to our mock performance

- The connection we made to each character was great

What was my initial idea? did this change over time and why? What impact did the changes have?
- Initial idea is in the audio. We did change our staging. At first, we thought of putting up drawings to show inner thoughts of Leah and Adam but it was change and we decide to have Leah and Adam communicating to each other while showing the drawings representing their inner thought as if they were in another whole. Leah and Adam are the outcast of the group and Leah is only one is kind to Adam. I think this change makes our improve the symbolism of our performance as having Leah and Adam talking to each other in another world shows that they doesn't fit in with the group.

How did you develop your final idea to be presented?

-In our final idea, we were all talking about how we found Adam then Leah and Adam suddenly fainted and woke up in their the world of their inner thought. The rest of team then go back stage to present the drawing through the light to shows their inner thought as well as making breathing and beating sound. Putting Leah and Adam in another world to communicate symbolize that they are relatable and are the outcast of the group.

Do you feel that you were successful in your task? explain your reasons.

- I think I was successful with my task as we have received good feedbacks from our classmates and Ms.Nicole. We have also put in emotions and use a lot of light element to shows our characters inner thoughts. We also made our performance dark and creepy which is why I believe our performance was successful.
