Its okay to be scared cause everyone gets scared. Being scared is a perfect and natural reaction to whats happening. In this scene specifically thomas is trying to be couragous and brave by ignoring Albys hand shake and turning his back to him. He soon learns that doing this will not help him at all and he needs to make friends with these people for answers to his many questions. It showed what was missing and what the author did well, also with a well written introduction summary. In this book review they had mentioned many times that the plot is very well thought through and is an amazing idea. The plot is so intriguing and it makes you want to read more. The concept of escaping the maze makes the reader think about the book and interact with it more than a book less enjoyable. You only get to see alot of Thomas the main characters emotions I would have enjoyed to hear more of the emotions of Minho. The author does a fantastic job of describing the slimey creepy terrifying creatures known as grievers the monsters that lurk in the maze at night. In the review the writer mentions that its a little suspicious that they have such a well organized group and a well running system. When you first read that it makes you think but then as you read on you relize how long they've been there and how things work. It is not a hard read and its usually meant for teens but anyone can read it and enjoy it. There is constant action so its really hard for the reader to get bored or uninterested. This book will always keep you on high alert and thinking about whats happening next.
