(1) The beauty of a building does not always have to judge how it looks but on how it functions too. A building must fulfill its purpose. Take the library as an example. As we all know a library is a place of knowledge and study. A library must have a proper arrangement of shelves in different categories like arts, science, and many more for the visitor to easily find what they are looking for. A library must have adequate lighting and high ceilings to make the atmosphere lighter and make you feel more productive. (2) The construction systems in architecture made me appreciate its evolution and improvements as we traced how the people of the olden days created simple structures by doing the post and lintel to what we have today like the skyscrapers. (3) The form of architecture is meaning. The form itself on architecture can make you easily distinguish what is its function. Churches can be easily identified base on their form itself.
