In a United Nations Human Rights council meeting China was sharply criticized for there mass detention camps. China has stated that they are only "politically motivated" in response. So far China has done nothing to cooperate and the numbers of Uyghur's in these deletion camps are growing by the day. There are only an insignifigant amount of stories from news sources that have covered this issue. Since not much is being done to support these Muslims, all you an do is get more and more people informed on this topic. They have used waterboarding and other techniques to torture Uyghur Muslims. As well as torturing Muslims they have also created crematories to cover up the vast amount of Muslims killed. This also keeps Uyghur's from preforming their burial tradition. China has stated that they are "political re-education camps," and that they are just trying to "crack down on terrorism" and "religious extremism." Families have been split apart and children are growing up around violence and anger against their religion. Families haven't heard from relatives in days to even months. But what is so awful about these camps, you may ask? These camps have been imprisoning, torturing, killing, and making them change their own religion. This problem hasn't just affected a few people, its affected hundreds of thousands, possibly even millions of Uyghurs and other ethnic minorities. China hasn't done anything to stop and these "reeducation camps" don't seem to stop anytime soon. They have done this in attempt to minimize what they say as "religious extremism." There are about 11,000,00-15,000,00 million Uyghur Muslims in China. They have put as many as 1 million Uyghur Muslims in what they call "reeducation camps" where they undergo psychological indoctrination programs. In these programs they have been taught to study communist propaganda  and to praise the Chinese president Xi Jinping. In China there are 11-15 million muslims that are scared for their lives. In China children are growing up in communities where their own religion is hated and criminalized. Always seeing people of their own religion getting hurt or taken away by the Chinese police force. These people are getting torture in the most cruel ways possible just because their religion is "not ideal" in the Chinese governments eyes. The population of these Uyghur's are decreasing by the day.
