- "As soon as he had said, such change grew in my breast, That neither night nor day I could take any rest" (Queen Elizabeth, 13-14). After Cupid's threat, the Queen cannot stop thinking of how she has been acting. She knows that she is beautiful, but the way she treats people is unacceptable.
