Laia from our high school posted a lot of Emergency Volunteers, but I would like to add this one, that I think it's so interesting: 

When there's an Emergency (a flood...) and you are a volunteer, you can be warned that they might need your help. 

You go to the Emergencies of your zone, so there isn't an specific place to go, it depends of the case. They are volunteers from anywhere of Catalonia so it is easy to participate and contribuate.

Firefighters are a security service to help the persos in danger As a car accident or another  problem the security number is 18 or 112 for Europe

The gendarmerie is a security service to help the persons who  have a problem such as a burglary or a theft of car ,   jewelry  or other emergency .the  number is the 17

There's actually a lot of emergency services in our beloved country but I think there's particulary one that stands out of the rest:

SEM or "Sistema d'Emergències Mèdiques" in catalan, is an emergency organisation that was created in the 14th of December 1992. Since then, it has been healthing and saving people with an efficient and consistent work. It's one of the main sanitary help organisation of Catalonia. Whatever your have a medical thought or you're feeling depressed or unaware of yourself, you can always call 061 and they'll talk to you and walk you out of your situation to make sure you're happy and fine. On the other hand, if by chance you get stuck somwhere or a big problem has happened, you just have to call 112. 112 first will ask you questions about the situation and your location and once they know what happened, they'll send help and give you instructions on how to do in your situation as a witness or the one who is in trouble. (with 112 you can also call the police and more services depending on the danger). What a nice people.
