Most people in this time lived in small communities, working as bakers or shoemakers, while wealthier folks practiced masonry, building things like Cathedrals. The church was strongly in power too, the word of God And the King, ruling over the people. Sickness was also rampant, most medical practices unsuccessful or driven by faith with no science to support it, the majority of illnesses came from the lack of hygiene habits, which were highly lacking, especially in the lower classes, making the death rate twice as young compared to modern-day society.
