⭐: Clear and easy to follow instructions. A lot of visuals were given to guide students through the plural spelling pattern. Also extended and explained why certain words didn't fit the rule.
⭐: Various ways for students to present answers: verbal and clicking on the poll. All the students were engaged.
🔮: Present a few words on the screen and have students answer them on the whiteboard and show their answers. This could be made into a chilli challenge. Green words could mainly focus on +s/+es, no +ies rule. Orange words could be slightly trickier and have one +ies rule. Red words could be the hardest with more words that focus on the +es/+ies rule.
