who fought slaves for jobs on the job market? the lower class

African Americans/Black Americans were never the issue and were never to blame, so why are we blaming them. Again and again the issue goes back to the wealthy pulling the strings and pitting communities against each other.

The Baltimore Colored High School was renamed the Frederick Douglass High School. He attended the school before it was renamed in his honor. Prior to desegregation, Douglass and Paul Laurence Dunbar High School (which opened in 1919) were the only two high schools in the city that accepted Black students, with Douglass allowing students from West Baltimore and Dunbar allowing students from East Baltimore.
