For right now I think Emma will still be mean to Billy right now because nothing really happened between the two of them recently, but later in the book Ms. Silver will catch Emma being mean to Billy and she will get in trouble.

I think eventually Emma will realize that what she is doing and she will stop. Emma might still tease Billy a bit because that's what people do sometimes. However Emma does not seem like she plans to stop because she is really getting meaner like when she called Billy "Babyish".

How I think he will change is he will get paired up with Emma for maybe a project and they will find out that they're both not so bad. I think that Emma will somehow throw Billy under the bus and frame Billy for something she did like spill the markers or break the chalkboard. I think that because Billy was mean to her and she wants revenge. After that I think she will lay off and let Billy make his own mistakes trying to get her back.
