This is my values picture. I took a values test and this is one of the values that I got out of the test. I want to practice compassion becasue I think that it can help to forgive our self and others easier. I was having a sleepover with my friend and we were going to sketch some fashion looks! This is the inspo board I made. Streetwear is a street style aesthetic inspired by hip-hop culture. Coquette is a clothing style aesthetic the is hyper feminine and has staple pieces such as lace, bows, ballet flats, and ruffles.

7/10/24

Carpooling with my supervisors 🚗. I worked at Leaders of tomorrow Youth Center (LTYC). It is a non-profit arts organization that has arts programs for kids around the DMV. We were going to the storage warehouse to get some supplies to drop off to some classes. We passed a big mound of salt 🧂 (the white mountain thingies) on our way there. On the way, one of our supervisors was ragging on me, Phrog(my intern partner) and our other supervisor for not knowing the geography of our city.🤣🤣

I worked at LTYC (Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center). It is a non-frofit arts organization that supports children through the arts by having arts programs in the DMV with a plethora of different art programs. To name a few, there is theater, visual arts, martial arts, beauty and dance. I would also like to say thank you to my wonderful supervisors, Carmie, Domanik, Lauren, Jasmin and Ivory for making my work experience amazing :)

I am interested in majoring in fashion designing so I can have a career in product development or merchandising. Another plan I had was to major in liberal arts. At my high school ( Bard High school Early College) we can graduate with an AA in liberal arts. I can major in liberal arts in college for 2 years to complete my degree so I have something to fall back on

PHILLY TRIP!!! I saw this building and I love the architecture!! I noticed a lot of the architecture in Philly was very complex and beautiful as if crafted with intention. My camera doesn't do it justice. Lael wanted me to capture this. I still gotta send it lol

Sooo on Phrog and I's lunch break, we decide to go to a bookstore called Station North Books. When we walk in, the owner said to close the door so the cat wouldn't get out. I was like, okay but excited to see the cat. As we were in the maze of books, a furry little guy(or girl i'm not sure) shows up at our feet to greet us. â˜º He was so friendly as you can see with his tail up--which means he(or she) likes us. It was a highlight of my day and that lil adventure was really fun!

Week 1 was really cool! Here is my artifact 🐈 😻 or articat(not the best pun I know)

So on my and Phrog’s lunch break, we decide to go to a bookstore called Station North Books. When we walk in, the owner said to close the door so the cat wouldn't get out. I was like, okay but excited to see the cat. Week 3 Reflectoin

Heyyyyyy so I wanted to show something from what I did at my job! We were counting stock in the stock room. It was really hot and took about 30-40 min but I was excited to put something on my reflections about my job. We also listened to music which was nice.

Funny story: I discovered these mints in our office. I got some and so did Phrog and it just kept going. We didn't eat all of them because we wanted people who use that room to have some as well. Phrog was making fun of how loud I was crunching on them but they were good😂

This pizza box is what we kept our papers in during professional development during BAI. Each section of my Pizza box is base don a different aesthetic i like. The top left sections has rainbow beads to evoke childhood, the top right is mean to represent aesthetic; the middle left is to be tropical; the bottom left is to be ultra feminine and the bottom is mean to me “ cottagecore which is to have symbols t from fairytales or old Europe such as flowers, gingham, cottages and all things nature.
