         <description><![CDATA[<div>Task 2 Using determiners :</div><ol><li>1. Plagiarism by students is considered academic dishonesty or academic fraud. Today, academic institutions use plagiarism detection software. <mark>This&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;software detects plagiarism and deters students from plagiarizing. Students who are guilty of plagiarism can be expelled from <mark>their&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;institution. Plagiarism is defined in different ways. For example the University of Oxford defines plagiarism as the use of <mark>another person’s </mark>&nbsp;ideas or phraseology without giving due credit. Brown University defines plagiarism as using <mark>a writer’s&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;ideas or words without attributing&nbsp;<mark>these&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;words or ideas to&nbsp;<mark>their&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;true source.&nbsp;</li></ol><div><br>Task - 3: writing descriptive sentences :<br>&nbsp;<br>1. Write the notes 1-6 as full sentences by adding the words in brackets to the nouns in bold.<br><br>1. <mark>A recent foreign&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;study has revealed that <mark>UK based &nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;diplomats owe&nbsp;<mark>the British&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;government over £500,000 in&nbsp;<mark>unpaid parking &nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;fines.<br><br>2.&nbsp;<mark>Nigerian, Turkish, and Afghan&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;diplomats owe&nbsp;<mark>the&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;largest proportion of&nbsp;<mark>these unpaid&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;fines.<br><br>3.&nbsp;<mark>The guilty&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;staff are trying to persuade <mark>foreign office </mark>&nbsp;diplomats to pay <mark>their&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;debts.<br><br>4. However, many of&nbsp;<mark>the&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;diplomats who were fined are no longer in&nbsp;<mark>the&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;country, which makes&nbsp;<mark>those&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;task almost impossible.&nbsp;<br><br>5. Also,&nbsp;<mark>diplomatic&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;immunity means that no&nbsp;<mark>serving&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;diplomat can face&nbsp;<mark>criminal&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;prosecution.&nbsp;<br><br>6. However, all diplomatic staff are expected to obey&nbsp;<mark>the&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;laws of&nbsp;<mark>the&nbsp;</mark>&nbsp;country they are in.</div>]]></description>
