We got to learn about the I-Plan. It is a rough draft of your writing into smaller pieces. You start with a topic like mine was Rocket Math and then you do a Focus. It is like My favorite part is Rocket Math. Then you would do a Explain. After that you would do a describe and then connect. The connect is basically the ending of that paragraph. Then you would do this on the other side but a different topic like Around the World. For this project I was determined to get it done and I really think that this was a fun and good piece of writing. I wrote about the miraculous journey of Edward Tulane. We were introduced to I-plans and using it to plan out our writing piece. It was pretty simple and easy! I wrote about owl pellets and how there not that gross and pretty fun! At first I had absolutely no idea what I was going to write but owl pellets sounded like a funny and cool story to write about! I think the learner quality I used was I wonder because I wondered is this the right amount of words? or is this detail good? We were able to make a I plan and were introduced to expository writing. With the I plan we got to plan out the sections and paragraphs of our expository. My expository was over projects the Keep Trophy Club Wild and the Harriet Tubman DBQ.  At first I thought this was going to be like any old writing piece. But later on I found out this is an new writing piece it was an expository writing. I liked when we got to introduce people to things that we enjoyed in 3rd grade. I did great on the lead and the lead really hooked other people and I loved the description and the descriptive words. I think one thing that I could do better is that I could have better connections to my reasons! And better word choice.
The learner quality that I used is determination and wondering I was determined when I got stuck I persevered through it I took my time and I was determined to make this at my best effort. I was a wonder because I wondered what this was and wondered if this made sense and is this the right wording and other things like that. We have never heard of the I-Plan it was tatly new to us!And we had to be in the same classroom with 44 people it was hard to work with.                                                     But we were able to get threw it. Next, we had to do are draft. I took a long time to finish my draft because it was very long and because I took my time. One of the best ways to do your best is to take your time. Taking your time helps because when you rush you don't take your time to deeply think about it. When you take your time it makes it better and longer. ( mine was 4 pages because I took my time.Then, we had to rivese and edit. I didn't have enogh time to edit or rivese! Lukly, I didn't need to edit or rivese! I didn't need to edit or rivese because I took my time. There are only some sentces that didn't make sense.  Lastly, we typed our draft on a google doc on our chome books. The learner quality I used was to be determined. I was determined by telling myself I can do this!
