I was inspired by the writing styles of artists like Kate Nash and Courteney Barnett, Very literal lyrics that are almost most spoken than sung. I have Bertie on guitar and Chantelle doing Harmonies. I asked Bertie to play something jazzy on guitar and just worked around what he was playing. The song tells the story of a girl meeting a guy, spending one night together and having a strong connection but never seeing them again.
