My favorite neighbor is Mrs. Johnson. She is an elderly woman who has been in my life since day one literally, she was one of the few people who attended my birth at home. Even though she is older she is always tending her garden and spending time in the sun. If I were to extend a lending hand I would volunteer some help on someone's property. There are several small shops down the hill that I could volunteer at as well. Over all I would probably just start my introducing myself to people and get to know them.

They put our trash bins out and take them in. They pick up our packages and keep them for us. We left for a few days last week and they, once again, picked up some packages that arrived for us and kept them until we returned home.
