When he was 33 years old, he was executed throughout the crucifiction in Gerusalem because of his enemies. However, according to christian a few days after his death, a woman found his tomb empty. This proved his relationship with God. Islam began 1400 years ago
The angel Gabriel visited Mohammed, who gave him the words of Allah.
- Muslim means a person who surrenders to the will of God
- there are 5 important rules ( principles) in Islam: to pray 5 times a day, to look at the Mecca's direction when praying, to do charity, to avoid alchool and avoid eating pigs, to do the Jihad, meaning that a good muslim needs to covert persons and spread islam.
-It is a monotheistic religion: they believe in Allah only.
-the muslims do not eat during they day if they are in the period of Ramadan (Between July and Agust)
- their book of rules is the Quran
-there are 1.5 billion Muslims around the world
- This religion started when Maometto was skipped out from Mecca and went to Medina, where he made some proselitism and was followed by many persons. When he came back to Mecca he became at the same time a military head and a Profet.
