Marco Polo was amazed by their journey within the silk road city.

Meanwhile, Dennis and Francis were unexpected and unwelcome visitors. They were given little food and had not well treatment. They also both gained knowledge of the lifestyle here though.

This picture reflects the struggles that Denis and Francis had to take during their journey. They had to learn the survival skills to travel as Marco Polo did and work with what was given to them and what they had to fight for. Visa's were not easy to obtain and the forgery of one could have caused great danger. They learned along the way and had some dangerous times, yet still continued to fight for their journey.
