When it comes to bowl out events in Cricket, the 2007 World T20 match between India and Pakistan may flash through your mind if you are a fan of the sport.

Since it was a game that involved arch-rivals, it became even more special for both countries’ fans. It was something that even expert fans would have failed to come up with correct today match prediction.

But you should also be aware that the discussed game was not the only one in the professional Cricket level having a bowl out.

The 1990s saw the birth of bowl out, which is the fact that not many are aware of. However, the introduction of the Super Over for tied matches ended the bowl out concept.

On that note, let’s take a look at 3 instances when bowl out was used. Back no virtual players had an idea about it while making today match prediction.

Derbyshire Vs Hertfordshire (1991)

In 1991, the England Cricket Board decided to go ahead with the bowl out concept for Tie break-based knockout matches. The idea was inspired by penalty shootout style in Football. Bowl out found itself being used sooner than expected. It was put to use after the first round match between Hertfordshire and Derbyshire in NatWest Trophy in 1991 was abandoned. The game had gone into the reserve day, and even Toss was unable to take place by then. The match was abandoned at 2 PM local time, but the officials went ahead with the bowl out at 4:15 PM after the rain subsided. Being a virtual player, would you have been to make a correct Fantasy cricket match prediction if allowed at that time? Derbyshire started the bowl out, and only Steve Goldsmith hit the wickets once in 2 balls. Players like Alan Warner and Simon Base missed on both times. Andy Needham, the fast bowler of Hertfordshire, managed to hit the wickets once in two balls. John Carr could not hit it even once, but it was the hitting of the middle stump by Bill Merry in his second attempt that secured the Team’s qualification. Hertfordshire was knocked out in the 2nd round after Warwickshire defeated them by 10 wickets.

West Indies Vs New Zealand (2006)

The 2006 West Indies Tour of New Zealand started with a one-off T20 International being played at the Eden Park. The game was also Windies’ Men Team’s first T20 International match. The boys from the Caribbean could not make a mark and scored only 126/7 in 20 overs. The Kiwis, in reply, were cruising at one time with scorecard reading 73/2 in 10 overs. But things changed when slow bowlers were introduced into the attack by West Indies. The hosts went on to lose 6 wickets while posting only 34 runs in the next 9.1 overs. The Black Caps somehow managed the defeat with a tie with a 6 by James Franklin and a 4 by Shane Bond. Nobody believed that they would see an outcome and had put New Zealand as the favourite going with today match prediction. Both sides came out for the first instance of the bowl out in International Cricket. The score line was still 0-0 after 6 efforts made by each Team’s 3 bowlers. For Kiwis, Nathan Astle, Chris Cairns and Jeetan Patel missed it. On the other hand, Windies’ Jerome Taylor, Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith failed to do the honors. Shane Bond did it in both his attempts. But at the same time, Ian Bradshaw could not hit stumps both times. But Scott Styris hit it in his first go that gave the Kiwis a winning margin of 3-0. Would you have been able to make the successful today match prediction for such a game of uncertainty?

PCA Masters XI in International 20:20 (Club Championship 2005)

PCA Masters XI was involved in a game with the Chilaw Marians Cricket Club, a Sri Lankan T20 side in the International 20:20 of Club Championship 2005. Martyn Ball was leading PCA Masters that also had Chris Gayle, which was his first T20 game. It was also a debut game for India’s Parthiv Patel, Robin Singh and Rohan Gavaskar. Chilaw batted first, and its score was 21/0 in 2.1 overs before rain halted the proceedings. Gayle bowled the first bowl and conceded 16 runs included 5 wides. To redeem his position, he returned to bowl in the bowl out and was able to target the stumps. It was also an easy hitting for Robin Singh, Martyn Ball, Nadeem Shahid and Philip DeFreitas for PCA. PCA went on to win the bowl out by 6-2 margin as only two players hit for Chilaw Team (Praneeth Jayasundera and Dinuka Hettiarachchi). In the later phase of the Tournament, PCA Masters XI made it to the Semis with back to back wins in the bowl out. With such exciting Cricket matches that we discussed, it becomes hard to make precise today match prediction, right folks?

Fantasy Cricket Prediction Exclusive 5 Indian Cricketers Who Are Remembered For Just 1 Performance

fantasy cricket sites exclusive cricket story for you this week. The Indian men’s cricket circuit has always been gifted with many unicorns and some prodigious talents over the years. The likes of many who have successfully scaled in managing to cross over and breach the gap between domestic cricket and the international cricket. This by merely consistently performing 1 excellent performance after another brilliant one. Yet still though amidst all of this, there have been a wide variety of Indian cricketer players who haven’t managed to create on the momentum and have merely faded away after just 1 magical performance.

We now dig into a list of 5 of such Indian international cricket players who fill in the list perfectly. These are those names who are remembered in the game for only 1 performance. The 1st name in no specific order is of Ajay Ratra. He was one of the many wicketkeepers whom the Indian Cricket tried after the retirement of the flamboyant Nayan Mongia and before the emergence of the Indian modern cricket icon Mahendra Singh Dhoni. In him was one of the 6 wicketkeepers whom the national selection body tried in a gap of 12 months in the 2001-02 cricket season. Ajay, who broke into the international scene with a debut at Eden Gardens in Kolkata during the 2002 ODI series against the English side. He went ahead and became the youngest ever wicketkeeper to score an international Test hundred during his debut series against the Caribbean giants the West Indies at St. Johns in Antigua. Yet still, Ratra’s luck with poor form continued and he was soon dropped from the set-up after the next Test match tournament in England. As for the 2nd name on the list. The dream11 expert today match choice might be a surprise talk for you. So then answer this honestly! Be true when you answer this. What is the 1st thing that hits you as you recall after reading or hearing the name Hrishikesh Kanitkar? Isn’t it that famous boundary that the southpaw hit off Saqlain Mushtaq to help India seal their first-ever 300+ run-chase against arch-rivals Pakistan in Dhaka back in 1998? Quite sadly he could not really repeat his onslaughts on a more consistent basis and the ill-fated tour down under in Australia at the turn of this century eventually proved to be his final representation in the Indian Cricket Team national colours. He featured in a total of 2 Test matches and 34 ODIs managing to score a single half-century only. Although he remained to be a consistent player in the FC cricket level though as he went on to notch up more than 10000 runs before hanging up his boots after the 2012-13 cricket season.

The 3rd Indian international wicket keeper player making into the list is Dinesh Mongia. He made his first appearance on the international scene in a One-day match against the Australian team back in 2001. However it was only in the following tournament where he achieved in scoring 71 and 49 against the touring English side and the series match winning knock of 159 in an encounter with the Zimbabwe team which made him to manage securing of a confirmed place in the Indian ODI side. This knock against the Zimbabwe team at Guwahati led to being a real boon in Dinesh Mongia’s international career as he went to go ahead of VVS Laxman for a place in the 2003 Indian team for the men’s World Cup. Depressing enough, Dinesh could not really cash-in on the opportunity. After his 159 against Zimbabwe, he was a part of the national side in 42 other matches in which he succeeded in scoring a dismal 703 runs averaging only a low 22.67 where he scored only 3 half-century knocks. The 4th name making it to the list is Stuart Binny. He was one another of those type of bits-and-pieces of players that the national team tried in their unit simply for their obsession for a seam bowling all rounder player. As just like many of his predecessors, he too didn’t attain much success on the international cricket scene. Yet, he still had his moments of heroism like the match-saving half-century at Nottingham, England, in 2014 or the more famous knocks of his, the record-breaking spell of 6 wickets for only 4 runs (6-4) against the neighbour team Bangladesh in an ODI in 2014 managing to help India defend their modest score of 105. Binny managed to break Anil Kumble’s 21-year-old record of the best bowling figures in an ODI (claiming a spell of 6-12 vs West Indies in the 1993 Hero Cup) by an Indian, a national team record that still stands firm even today. This here is a dream 11 prediction cricket list of Indian players for you.
