So far, we've managed to cover in this graph the case where one PARTICULAR side of the triangle (here BC, for convenience :) you'll see why by looking at the coordinates of the points A, B and C, that the orthogonal system, with its origin in B, was chosen so as to make things easier for us) is of maximum length, but we are working on the case where each side can potentially be of maximum length (but for that we'll have to write some more equations, which is a bit time-consuming), so that you can adjust the positions of A and C however you like, and the program still finds the inflated figure for the respective triangle (as I said before, we have only done that for the case where diameter = BC, the simplest one to graph :) ).

So we took a look at the figure from the requirement of the problem, and upon further analysis we discovered that indeed (and a bit counter-intuitively) that was the inflated set for a square. We then tried to retrace the steps by which the figure was initially obtained, noticing that it indeed met all the criteria of an inflated set. I'll take a look at your figures more closely, to maybe see why our figures are different and if I manage to find some conclusive evidences as to why our figures are different, I'll get back to you.
