Explore :At the stage of drawing attention, I asked questions to my students.I gave research homework on where technological products are used in daily life.
Explain: Students were allowed to share their research.The missing information was completed by explaining by me.
Elaborate : : Technological products that we use at every moment of our lives save us time. Technological products that we use in homes and workplaces (dishwashers, laundry machines, televisions, mobile phones, computers, etc.) make our life easier.We should be conscious while purchasing these technological products. These products should consume less energy and less water so that natural resources are not exhausted. In addition, we should choose environmentally friendly detergents used.We should not randomly throw away the technological products we use when they are broken.We must be a conscious consumer.Students were shown videos on the benefits and harms of technology and climate change.

Problem Condition : Ayşe is wondering about the future. She thinks about how life changes in the future and at what stages technology is. She wants to learn the changes in her life, environment, climate. He also talks about the binoculars that are tools. At the moment, Ayşe decides to design binoculars that show the past and the future.What would you do if you were in Ayşe?Would you like to design and make your own binoculars?

They are told to look at the past and the future and make pictures of what they see with the binoculars they designed.

STEM plan 2: How to plant a tree, to built a bird house (Climate change theme)

The students being 6 – 10 years old learned the new notions about the life of plants, birds, animals and decided that they want to get involved in ecological actions and become nature’s friends.
Activity 1: making a birdhouse. Students learned through playing, discovery and active exploration that in order to build the birdhouses of the PET they have to take the following steps: to cut the PET and paint the pieces of it; to make a hole in the stopper; to add thread; to screw stopper; assemble the PET pieces and get the birdhouse made.
Activity 2: planting a tree. Students found out that in order to plant the trees in the schoolyard they must follow the steps: to dig holes in the ground, adding some water; to fix the sapling, to add soil; to gather soil around the stem and press it well; to water the soil.
These STEM outdoor and indoor activities kept the students permanently occupied, arousing their interest and curiosity regarding ecological actions, better preparing them for life.
