This began when the British helped the French in the French and Indian War. the British wanted them to pay because they helped them during the war. The people involved in this were Samuel Adam and John Hancock. The objective of the British was to get all supplies from Concord as a form of payment since they weren't getting paid by the French. The British were not receiving the payment they asked for so they started to march toward Concord to get their payment on the way they got stopped by some minute men who waited for them to stop them and then a gunshot rang out and both sides started shooting, after all of that the British won and kept marching toward Concord.

Bunker Hill began on June 1775. General Thomas Gage. Their objective was to take over Boston. The patriots went to take Boston from the British so they set up a siege around Boston and left the British with nothing to do. So they march up the hill with 125 pounds of gear on their back. one of the leaders says to the patriots don't shoot until you see the white in their eyes. The reason he said this is because they are trying to save their ammunition. 1,000 British soldiers died and only 400 patriots died. in the end, the Patriots come out with a victory.
