The book also says, “Exercise is associated with more positive mood, improved sleep, better concentration and productivity and higher self-esteem”(Page 2). This shows how good certain health behavior is can be. Policies and government regulations can promote good health behaviors because if they offer more programs and things for people to do to get up and get active it can really help some people become healthier.

The book also states, “research shows that excessive media exposure can negatively influence teenagers’ nutrition, body image and health. In addison, too much screen time leads to a sedentary lifestyle that can promote obesity and other health problems”(Page 3). This shows that we need to stay healthy and be active because our society pushes us to be in front of screens and that can sometimes lead to obesity and other health problems.

The book says, “Many teens rely on vending machine snacks, fast food and on-the-go sugary sports drinks or sodas for fuel during the day”(Page 2). This shows that we are more likely to choose unhealthy options so we should make it a priority to try and eat healthy.

During the winter my family and I have nothing to really do. It’s cold outside and we just want to stay indoors and aren’t really active. During winter break we all try to get outside to do something more active so we aren’t sitting inside and playing games. So I suggested that we go snow tubing and everyone loved the idea. So we went during break and we had so much fun being outside in the snow and running up and sliding down the hills.
