It depends on the resume. For example, (Don't know when that happened) a guy sent a mini magazine with all the articles of his accomplishments and nicely edited photos of himself (just like a magazine) as his resume for a job at GQ magazine. He got the job solely based on resume. it's just one example but it means that companies might be looking for something out of the box
