]]> 2022-06-12 04:28:44 UTC https://padlet.com/madamesantos9/rmn69zyy85eb8yw2/wish/2218399735 Week 7 - Creating, Reusing and communicating - EUKidsonline 2020- Excessive internet use madamesantos9 https://padlet.com/madamesantos9/rmn69zyy85eb8yw2/wish/2218401095 The concern, mainly on the part of parents, about the excessive use that children and adolescents make of the Internet, caught my attention because it comes along with what this excessive use would be, specifically for this research.  Considering mainly the damage that this use can bring to the integral well-being of these children and adolescents.  The excess being measured by the damage it can cause in other areas of life such as emotional problems, lower self-efficacy, poor sleep, motivating risky actions, tobacco use, causing nutritional damage, sedentarism or decreased physical activity, and health problems.
 This point caught my special attention, because nowadays and more and more the use of the Internet tends to grow for all areas of life, whether for studying, informing, having fun, communicating, working, among others, more and more the use of the Internet will be indispensable. However, balancing it with other offline activities in order to ensure a good hygiene of life is a challenge for both adults and children, which is why it is so important to ensure that our children and teenagers evolve in their internet use with balance and awareness.

At the end of this third module, I consider that I have also made great progress towards my learning goals, getting to know many more tools and deepening my knowledge about assessment and feedback in the virtual learning environment, security, content selection and evaluation, media literacy. Unfortunately, I was not able to work collaboratively during the weeks that were planned because they also coincided with periods of intense work and travel. I tried to appreciate my colleagues' work on the forums. Of all the content, strategies and tools, the best part was being able to meet so many people and learn from them.
