The bullying and the rumors going around the school about his mom had caused him to stop getting involved and caused him to be more antisocial. One way the experiences connect with his actions towards characters is when lily stuck up for him and when he was asked if it was the bully's fault instead of lily's he lied and got her in trouble because he was mad at her. Another way conor had acted to a character is when he talks to his grandma and she tells him to that he's going to live with her. Also I feel that she reacted this way because she didn't know what to do because she was so angry and sad that conor had broke nearly everything in the room that was special to her. Such as how the person was invisible like how conor felt and how conor wanted to be seen and wanted people to know and how the monster "helped" conor and made conor beat Harry till he was hospitalized. Such as how his mother looks because a person in chemo therapy should not likely have hair and she looked like she wasn't sick. Another reason it didn't is because it doesn't have the character Lily who plays a good part in the text and it explains why his father is gone. The reason I would revise her is because in the movie she didn't look like she was sick or going through chemo therapy. Such as in the story we picture the mom sick barely able to do anything and to just sleep and go to the hospital, but in the movie we see the mother walking around with hair and she doesn't look or act like she is in pain or sick from the treatments she got. Personally I think the character should have had less hair bags under her eyes and to act and to look more like a person going through chemo therapy and sick would look like.
