My webtool for TechnoCLIL for EVO 2017 I like PADLET Padlet provides a spacewhere you can upload and place any kind of files: images, links, videos, etc.It could be used to upload such material on a particular topic to the students,and collaborating with others in the development of a content. It helps in improving the basic IT skills in using web. It is suitable to be used in teaching as it offers the ability to create spaces in which to present disciplinary ormulti-disciplinary issues and and problems and aggregate information from the web on specific topics.

The pupils, through the preparation of a cake, and by measuring the proper dosage of ingredients, are invited to have practice with mathematics, making exercises about not only arithmetic operations, but also with weight and volume measurement units.

The lesson is easily replicable, the students are always invited to “do something” in groups trying to be independent towards mathematics. Furthermore, they are stimulated by the fact that they will have to prepare a big party where for sure they will have fun. During the activities, they will learn (playing) new terms related to food, understanding how to use the smartphone to decode QR codes about different products needed for the cake, and comparing also the costs. They will be guided to compare numbers, making operations and equivalences. The students families will be involved too in the lesson, providing help and sustaining their boys. These will be divided in groups, this favoring the cooperative learning.

Explored some of the webtools for reading/writing/vocabulary proposed and post at least an example of your activities in WEEK 4 Forum (link, screenshot, comments etc.)

Tagul should be one of the tools to be used in a 2^nd class of a primary school. By using this tool, it is possible to write words in a very creative and amazing way, using different colors and directions. Therefore, the pupils can reinforce the memorization of new terms through this tool. Obviously, it is always needed the presence of the teacher as supervisor, because there isn’t an automatic correction of the words.

The tool is easy to use and very intuitive, and hence suited for young students.

What is my idea of Extensive Reading?

It’s the first time I can hear about the Extensive Reading, due to this course, and the idea is very interesting.
I think that it’s a great learning opportunity for pupils of any age.
In my opinion, it’s very important to choose books suited to the level of language knowledge, as well as engaging texts, so that, by identifying themselves with the characters, they will be pushed to learn new words, and intrigued to confront with a different culture.
It’s obviously useful to create a dedicated space for the reading, where the children could stay reading the chosen book among all the others at their disposal.
Then, to reinforce what they have learned, it could be also organized simple and short scripts and subsequent performances at theater.
I believe that in the coming years I will try to go into CLIL topic, trying to apply it later in my classroom.
Regarding my CLIL idea during the week 4 test, I started by reading a very simple book, but that suggests many ideas for the application.
I imagined to give it to students holding a A1 level, so as not to stress them too.
The story is pleasant, smooth, rich in variations, and moreover, through youtube videos and related songs, it is possible to reinforce the English listening.
Finally, through the Learning apps tool, I’ve created a simple memory to link the use of technology to the lesson

The context : an easy and entertaining learning path to know the different parts and all the possible uses of aromatic plants, as a way to verify my learning attitude in relation to the participation to the actual course. My intention has been to highlight the advantages in using CLIL and technology tools (Padlet, Learning Designer, LeraningApps) to simply perform a lesson in which the pupils may feel deeply involved in learning the benefits coming from this kind of plants. The students can work in groups, share the progresses in tools learning, and play a leading role in the lesson.
