It’s really hard to express creativity in an outdated academic setting, because the school focuses much on traditional subjects

The Italian school system is one of the least advanced in all Europe. We have to spend a lot of time at school sometimes learning useless subjects and we don’t even feel so prepared about our future.

•Better choose of teachers for students that are the future, and better salary for teachers because some people don’t feel their valued efforts and for that they don’t want to do this job

• introduce topics in civic evocation, like how do you vote, taxes etc…

• better organization for those with mental and physics disabilities

•for languages, we think that students need a native speaker

• better distribution for holiday

• more facilities for those whit low ISEE

Education: skills, social contests, learn to stay with other people

School sistem: stressing school enviroment, no space for creativity (however in our school yes thanks to projects), no space for student’s interests

but we can grow thanks to school experiences (erasmus)

In conclusion the school sistems abroad are more efficients

Italian rigid school rigid schedule leaves little time outside school -> firstly it creates a stressful environment because everything revolves around school; secondly, since creativity is something you train, if it isn't taught at school, it's difficult to develop it outside of school because of the little time.

Creativity is up to the teachers:

Some of them just read the book or just repeat the lesson, so students aren't interested because they get bored as the lesson isn't stimulating

-> this way curiosity is killed

Other teachers that create a dialogue with the students and make them think give students the ability of critical thinking

The teacher role is a key figure to the development of teenagers: if they inspire in them curiosity, they will become open-minded conscious students.
