Another practice is asking them questions at the end of the lesson to assess their understanding and if the class shows lack of understanding, changing my teaching strategy to better suit their learning style.

In my UKG classroom, I use a simple strategy called “Think, Plan, Do, Check” to help children begin developing metacognitive and self-regulation skills.

• Think – I encourage children to pause and think about what they are going to do (e.g., “What do I need to draw?”).

• Plan – We talk about the steps to take (e.g., “First I’ll draw the sun, then the house.”).

• Do – They go ahead with the task.

• Check – After finishing, I guide them to look at their work and ask, “Did I do everything I planned?”

This helps young learners start becoming aware of their thinking and actions in a fun and age-appropriate way.

Ask them questions of prior knowledge.

Asked them to search the internet and look into the groups of animals that they are concerned about as homework.

Then ask them to evaluate how well the strategy worked for them.

2.Encourage Goal-Setting and Self-Assessment

Let students:

Set personal learning goals.

Use rubrics to assess their own work before submitting.

Compare their progress over time.

3.Use Group Discussion and Peer Teaching

When students explain ideas to peers, they reflect more deeply.

Use prompts like: “How did you solve that?” or “What strategy worked best for you?”

Show them how relatable literature is to their life and getting them to express their opinions on a literary text.

Everyday children should have a collaborative time within individuals to have casual talk for problem solving among them selves.

• Encourage children to review their work once completed, to check if they have achieved what was intended, identify what went wrong and why, and consider how they could improve.

-Visual learners can use drawings, emojis, or simple symbols.

Finally give them opportunity to present their ideas to the class.

I also believe in bringing in more examples on a certain topic that I will be teaching about , so that their knowledge is not limited just within study resources.

Another important point is to give them the opportunity to speak during the sessions even though we might be worried if we are able to finish the lesson within the allocated time. If they are able to speak up exress their point of view only then they will understand that a lesson has various aspect to it.

Next is on how I handle them during their exams. During exams is when stress and fear creeps in to all the students. Reasons could be many , maybe its the preasure parents put in them to always score upto a certain expected level , maybe they want to give their best for their own self. At the end when a kid gets the paper into their hand , many of them no matter how much they mightve studied they go blank and why is that? Its the fear that sometimes the mentors instil in the making them to only score the best. This preasurize the students during the exams upto a certain level they completely go blank. Firstly as responsible mentors we should establish such an environment where the students are comfortable and able to openly put forth their opinions.

English:

Encourage reading books daily (age-appropriate stories)

Use word games and flashcards to build vocabulary.

Let them keep a journal or write short stories.

Watch English cartoons or audiobooks with subtitles.

2. Math:

Give puzzles, number games, and fun worksheets.

Use real-life examples (counting money, measuring in cooking).

Encourage them to solve problems step by step on their own.

Praise effort and teach that mistakes help them learn.

2) Asking one or two students to explain to the class what we learn today

3) By giving some revision questions so the one who didn’t attend a session or didn’t study they will be automatically revise or ask from the other students and learn

4) At home can do like; example: Like Nick’s study plan and also learn

5) In maths can learn multiplication like a song

6) Using different learning styles to make the students understand

7) Doing fun activities or playing a video for the relevant lesson that we learn

8) Do a memory game on what we studied and asking questions from students of what they learn and when students remembers they get a star.

Let students, explain their thinking to each other when solving a problem, discuss what they already know about the problem, gathering steps to plan the solution. This builds awareness of their thought process and gives feedback for improvement.  After that visualize and organize their thinking before coding. After that let the students Identify what went wrong, think through possible reasons and test
