I believe teaching digital citizenship is important because it shows students that everything they do online will always be there. It also shows students not to engage and put their private information online. They can have fun online, but they should not engage in behavior that may be dangerous or harmful online. Students will also know that they must treat everyone with kindness and respect online and not cyberbully people. Lastly, it shows students to always reach out to a trusted adult if they see anything they are scared of or is not kind. Overall, it is significant because it shows students the importance of being online, their impact, and how to be safe online.

For this activity, you will complete a digital citizen online worksheet. First, you will click the link. You will be sent to the worksheet. Next, you will read the scenarios. You will then determine if those scenarios are good or bad to see if you understand your learning of digital citizenship. If you believe the scenario is good, then you will highlight "good." But, if you think it is bad, you will highlight "bad." After you are finished, you will share the document with me.
