The mother and father of the Walls family wanted to purchase actuals bed for their children but the children declined the offer because they found that sleeping on boxes was like an adventure. The children of the Walls family appeared to be easy to please and found comfort in even the most uncomfortable of places. At the end of the chapter, the dad of the Walls family had decided to get a cheap piano for the mother of the Walls family because she wished play it. Although, to a great suprise, the mother of the Walls family managed to take it into the backyard and they were unable to bring it back inside because the tracks were too close to the front door. So, the dad appears to be a man that thinks things out and finds out why theyre unable to do certain things. As stated later on, chilren hide fires in the room so, the child must've believed that if it was hidden, it would cease to exist because they cant see it. 


-Fire is something that allows us to feel "powerful" if we can use it or manipulate it as we wish. Fire usually is used by minors to remove sadness or even anger, if a child is using fire to satisfy the urges of being in control or to remove harsh feelings, then the child most likely has underlying problems.
