He and the Greek warriors made a giant wooden horse and hide inside it.
They left it in the battlefield and the Trojans thought it was a gift. Cassandra , dead Hector's sister knew the Greeks were inside. Everyone thought she was wrong . Helen called out the warriors names in their wives' voices but Odysseus kept them silent. So Helen went to sleep and the Greeks burned the city.....

Recommendation: Yes, the story is not to be disliked and it is old and good.
