It is a representative palace of the bourgeoisie of the nineteenth century. Located in a magnificent place next to the La Mota viewpoint, with beautiful views of the extensive Benaventana valley.
The building was ordered to be built by the landowner and senator Felipe González Gómez in 1904. The work of the architect Segundo Viloria Escarda, it is a representative example of quality architecture from the beginning of the 20th century. It is inspired by the architectural models of bourgeois Madrid, and following the architectural guidelines developed by Viloria in other constructions in Benavente.

For this, it uses the great decorative possibilities of brick on the facades, breaking the excessive frontality and monotony of the walls. The three floors of the building respond to the same scheme, although in the main one the windows are replaced by balconies.

The property is divided into three floors plus basement and roof terrace, greatly highlighting the nobility of the first floor. In it, its elegant bourgeois rooms have been decorated with paintings of landscapes or oriental scenes, geometric and floral motifs on the ceilings, and excellent stained glass, ironwork and tile work. The building, with a square plan, is arranged around the nucleus that constitutes the central courtyard and the main access staircase. It also has a cellar below ground level and a beautiful roof terrace with views of the La Mota gardens.

3.The Torre del Caracol.

It is a tower that was part of the Castillo de la Mota de Benavente, one of the few remaining parts of the immense and luxurious castle-palace that the Pimentels owned in this town. At its peak it was one of the most important and sumptuous fortresses in all of Spain. The extension of its gardens covered a large part of the valley through which the Órbigo river passes, which extends at its feet. Many fountains and sculptures belonging to this garden are still preserved, almost all in private hands.
