Dictatorship is absolute power over the citizens, where one single person rules. The ruler has controls and leads with total power. Kim Jung-un is the  current ruler of North Korea, and became dictator in 2011, when his father, Kim Jung-il passed away of a heart attack. A fake election was held and if you voted for Kim, your vote could be private. If you weren't it would be public and you could risk execution or other discipline. Basically, the country has no choice over their ruler. North Korea was ruled by the Kim dynasty in 1948 after the Soviet Union took control of the north of the Korean peninsula after WWII. It is seen as highly disrespectful to disobey the rules and one little thing can change your whole life.If you are caught, you will be sent to prison camp along with your whole family and the next three generations to wipe out the "seed" of class enemies. All of the media is controlled by the state and no outside contact is allowed. Citizens are not allowed to leave the country unless permission is given to them by the government. If you are caught practicing Christianity you will be arrested and sent to a labor camp. Sometimes, women are forced to get an abortion or when the baby is born, they kill it. Theocracy is the thought that the state is ruled by god or a divine authority. Religious laws are used to settle disputes and everything is thought to be "for God" or another specific being. It is usually adopted by countries with a population who is strongly religious. With dictatorship, everything is controlled by the ruler and everything is for that person.
