Our only connection to the outside world is what we see on tv, in the news, on the internet, through social media, and what we hear our families and friends talking about. Usually, when we’re in person together, we have an opportunity to share our thoughts and feelings with one another about what’s going on in the world and our personal lives, and essentially get everything off our chest. I miss these moments with you guys and I don’t want you to feel alone right now. I would like to invite you to share your thoughts and feelings by writing it all out. What are you thinking? How are you feeling? Do you have anything you feel worried about? Is there anything you’re hoping for? Are you grateful for anything? Disappointed by anything? Tell me anything! This is a safe space to write. I will not share your writing with the class, unless it is something you specifically want to share. If it’s a topic you think we would all benefit from, then we can plan a group discussion at a later time to share together.
