We assembled to appeal to God for the goodness of our purposes, to do in the name, and by the authority of the good people of these colonies. We would also like to solemnly publish and proclaim for the good people. These colonies should have the right to be free and independent in their own state. The colonists were relieved from all allegiance to the British crown and the political connection between them and the State of Great Britain. They had the full power of the Levy War and that concluded peace with alliances. Commerce was being established and all of the other acts and things which independent states may have the right to do. The support of the Declaration, even with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we pledged to each other lives, fortunes, and we bless our honor.

The King(you) made it to where all laws that wanted to be passed had to be passed through him. Doing this leaves us(the Administration of Justice) at a disadvantage because we don’t have immediate access to the king. He also refuses to give assent to laws for establishing judiciary powers. The King does not care about how his action affects his subjects. He started taxing his followers without their consensent. He believes that he gets to say whether or not people's lives are important.
