Exhibition Reflection

Entry: 10/8/13

So far I have thought about what is technology and I have looked at lots of different types of technology like a sift for example. We have looked at items and how they work. We also made time lines of production and advancements of the television.

I have also figured out the timetable for exhibition. I am in a group group with a partner for now but it is not permanent.

I5/8/13

Today we got our groups finally and did our facility lesson. I’m in a group with Jack Morton and Marcus To they are both my friends and after this experience we will become better friends. Our facilitator is Mr. Jay.

Today we found out our mentors Me, Marcus and Jack are all excited about having Mr. seacombe and Mr. carlino. They are both great teachers and help us as much as they can. But we will still have to do all of it our selves.

19/8/13

Today we started with cybary. We stayed in our facilitator groups me Marcus and Jack had to do a massive dump and come up with a central idea we wrote down all our ideas and thought really hard. It got so frustrating but we ended up with a really good one it was technology can be used to make a positive impact on the environment. We all so came up with our lines of inquiry my group worked through it with Mr. carlino and came up with causation, responsibility and change we also went through our agreement with him.

26/8/13

This past week we have narrowed our thoughts down to stopping waste and leaves getting in to waterways. Because waste pollutes water. Leaves take out oxygen from the water and kill the fish. Plus both look bad in our waterways. Jack recently been sick me on one occasion so Marcus had to do most of the work on Friday. Our next step is to research more and more to get the plans and blue prints done and start making the draft.

10/9 13

It’s the day before exhibition and I have mixed feelings I’m excited but I’m also worried because we might of done enough but the item is fully prepared and we have the things in the inquiry cycle to photo copy ready for photo copying and some hand crafted things still to go but were pushing until the time comes and we finish and its going to be hard.

I know that we will be successful because we just have the small things left.

Now that the exhibition is finished I feel really relaxed and it is a huge weight off my shoulders and now we just have to do the reflection but my group are now going to the council to see if they approve it and if then people might start seeing it around town and that is part of us taking action.
