Path started out in 2010 as a private networking app that let users keep just 50 friends, but that was boosted to 150 friends and eventually lifted. It boasted 15 million users at one point, but like most other social media apps, was smothered by the 800-pound-gorilla of social media, Facebook. As it did with other social networks (oh, Snap), Facebook allegedly borrowed several innovations from Path, notably the aforementioned stickers and reactions, which replaced the "like" button in 2015.

Path's star began to fade not long after its apex, and an effort to split off its private messaging app into the business-oriented Path Talk didn't help. It was purchased by Korea's Kakao in 2015, which hoped to profit from the app's popularity in Indonesia (Path had four million users there at one point). That clearly didn't pan out, however, and Kaoko elected to abandon the app altogether.


Morin recently mused about the possibility of rebuilding Path, but that clearly came to nothing. It will be pulled from the App Store and Google Play on October 1st, but users have until October 18th to download their data. After that, Path will officially join the app graveyard, so if you were ever attached to it, now's the time to mourn.

People are still unaware that river like Ciliwung can make their prosperity better if it's not contaminated with garbage and other waste. Household garbage fills the surface of the sewers in Tanah Abang area, Jakarta, Tuesday (11/06/2018).

Even though there is already a ban on littering, some people are secretly or even openly littering the sewers.

Jakarta, Kompas.com - The concrete barrier in front of the Public Cemetery Menteng Pulo, South Jakarta, looked neat on Friday (9/11/18). According to kompas.com's observation, there were no online driver trying to remove the barrier to get through. The traffic were fine as well.

This was contradictory to a video online where some of the online drivers tried to remove the concrete barriers so they can move through.

"Usually when the traffic is packed, in the morning when people go to work and evening when they go home. In front (of Menteng Pulo Public Cemetery) there were always a traffic jam, maybe they (rider) were not patient. So they remove the barrier and ride through the vapement, " said Hasan, one of the functionary of the Menteng District. 

This is a photo of traffic jam that took place on the entrance of the University of Lambung Mangkurat. This traffic jam was caused by a graduation program at the Sultan Suriansyah's building in front of ULM. Because ecause there were a lot of people, there was not enough parking in the building, so there were many cars parked on the ULM roadside.

It was obviously bad enough for some of us who wanted to cross that street or motorcyclist. It took so long for us to actually just exit the gate. We hope there will be a solution to this problem in the future. 

The main road connecting Bandung-Cianjur Selatan, West Java, was cut off due to a 20-meter landslide on Sunday (11/11/2018).

Landslides occurred after the 15-meter-high Citatang cliffs on the road line in Cigarogol village, Naringgul village, Naringgul sub-district, collapsed as rain fell on high and long periods.

Garbage piles up at the Manggarai Water Gate, Menteng, Central Jakarta on Monday (11/12/2018). Head of the Implementation Unit of the Hygiene Implementing Unit (UPK) of the Water Agency of the Central Jakarta Environment Office, Rohmat, said that the accumulation of garbage was caused by rain which flushed Bogor and surrounding areas on Sunday (11/11/2018) afternoon. Waste from upstream flows around 9-12 hours until it arrives at the Manggarai water gate. 

"At 2:30 a.m., a pile of rubbish arrived at the Manggarai water gate. This rubbish pile happened because of the rain on  yesterday afternoon in Bogor and its surroundings," Rohmat said at the Manggarai water gate in Central Jakarta on Monday. It estimates that 600 cubic of garbage has accumulated at the Manggarai Water Gate, since early Monday. The garbage is dominated by the tree trunks and household appliances.

In Pizza Hut, there is a system called SBS (Service By Schedule). So everyone are demanded to have multiple roles. He usually works as a server. He works from 4 p.m to 1 a.m.

He loves working in Pizza Hut. Everyone is kind to him. Even though he got pressured from some costumers, his senior always help him.

Vice President Jusuf Kalla assessed the reduction in agricultural land contributed to the increase in the unemployment rate in the village.

Flash floods hit Tolokalo Village and Songgajah Village, Dompu District, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Friday (11/09/2018).

Flash floods occur due to high rainfall occurring in the Dompu Regency area on Friday afternoon.

Last week I went to Takisung beach with my father. We drove from Banjarmasin to Pelaihari for about 3 hours by car. We actually bring a tent with us to set a camp along the coast. It was fun watching the sunset, it was very mesmerizing and beautiful. But, there is a lot of mosquitos outside when the night came, so it was really annoying. But overall, my trip was amazing and fun.

Based on the site, AccuWeather, the highest air temperature in Jakarta since the beginning of October starts from 33 to 35 degree celcius.

Meteorology, climatology, and geophysical agency (BMKG) stated that the heat is a natural Phenomena. "It is a common thing to occur at dry season and transition period," Said the head of the PR of the Meteorology, climatology, and geophysical agency, Hary Tirto Jatmiko. He also stated that the cold and dry air mass came from Australia causing the humidity of the air decreases. 

The Banjarmasin's weather has developed lot of rains lately. Almost everyday, these last few days, many cases of high intensity rain took place. FKIP EXPO Lambung Mangkurat University took place from November 24th until December 2nd. Many competitions took place during. From sport such as football, chess, and e-sport. Football championship took place at 24th, 26th to 30th of November. The crowds reacted very enthusiastic. Unfortunately, English Department couldn't win the football competition. However, they achieved first place for the e-sport tournament, with the game Mobile Legends. Congratulations!

Compete at the Hong Kong Coliseum on Friday (11/16/2018), Jonatan lost the rubber game match with a score of 24-22, 9-21, and 9-21.

In the first game, Jonatan performed well by winning 5-2 points. Momota approached at 8-7, but Jonatan was able to maintain excellence at 11-7 intervals. Obama Becomes Santa Clause to Entertain Kids in the Hospital 

Wearing a red hat while carrying a bag containing a Christmas present, former United States President Barack Obama visited a hospital in Washington DC.

The 57-year-old man showed off the style like a rock star with a little dance while walking in, and was greeted by shouts and Christmas songs from the crowd in the hospital.

USA Today announced on Wednesday (12/20/2018), families, children and hospital staff welcomed Obama by singing the song "We Wish You a Merry Christmas".

Community Project of English Department 

English Department of FKIP ULM held a community project on Thursday, 20th of December. It was a project of introducing English to elementary schoolers. The whole batch of EngDept 2018 split up into groups to go to Elementary Schools that has been chosen. The groups introduced English in 3 ways, Song, Song and Dance, and Board Game. The schoolers showed enthusiasm as the groups taught them about English. 

West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil uploaded a photo of the 99 Dome Mosque construction project in Makassar City, South Sulawesi, which was almost completed on his Instagram account. These 99 domes Mosque Designs are the result of his work.
 Head of South Sulawesi Province Water Resources Management (PSDA) Andi Darmawan Bintang said the construction of the 99 Dome Mosque had reached 70 percent.
The target is the mosque will be completed in 2019. There are several more parts that have not yet been completed.According to Darmawan, this mosque was built with Rp 182 billion from APBD funds. 99 Dome Mosque is a new sight that is very beautiful when viewed from the Losari Beach Tower.

Based on filmindonesia.or.id data quoted by Kompas.com, Friday (12/21/2018), there were 13 films which earned more than 1 million viewers throughout 2018.
The status of the Champion this year is still held by the 1990 film Dilan which was produced by the production house of Max Pictures and Falcon Pictures. The film, starring Iqbaal Ramadhan and Vanesha Prescilla won 6,315,664 spectators.
The second rank was won by a horror film Suzzanna: Breathing in a Grave starring role artist Luna Maya. The film won 3,337,961 spectators. Perched in third place is Danur 2: Maddah with an audience of 2,572,672.
Occupying the fourth to 13th place occupied by films that reached a number of around 1 million viewers.
