Hello everyone! My name is Josef Ležák and I work at the International Office of the Philosophical Faculty of the University of Hradec Králové. Here you can see me on the main campus of the university although our faculty is located in a bit different place.
Originally I am from a small town called Harrachov, which is in the northern part of the Czech Republic, but I live in Hradec Králové for 9 years now. I came to the UHK to study political science and I have stayed here ever since.
I love travelling, hiking in the mountains and watching movies so I am a quite regular visitor to the local cinema.
Because I also was an exchange student myself (in Estonia and Hungary) I already know that you are having a great time ahead of you, and I wish you the best exchange experience in the Czech Republic. Looking forward to seeing you in person!

Ahoj, I am Tomasz and at my home university in Poznań, Poland I'm studying national seciruty with dose of cybersecurity. This is going to be my second Erasmus experience as I already had one in Bańska Bystrica in Slovakia. Thanks for being a volunteer in various places in Europe I keep my mind open for new experiences, learning and discovering. I’m interested I tend to use a lot of reference to movies, songs or series. I’m working in Swedish open air museum as a Viking talking about viking age and teaching old crafts. My favourite things to do are reading books that involve existentialism, listening depressing Russian music, painting with watercolours and watching anime. I already have some plans what I'd wish to visit around while my stay in Hradec Kralove so I’m looking forward to have company on this trips. Most importantly historical places like Kutna Hora and Sazava as well as Cesky Raj and Prachovske Skaly. Nice to meet you all :)!
